You know your sound inside and out. We know how to get it heard by the right people. Let’s turn it up to eleven
Sarah and Steve cut their teeth in marketing back when agencies actually gave a damn about understanding each artist as an individual, not just another number to run through the sausage machine. Between them, they’ve got 50+ years of battle-tested experience across music, film, and gaming – working campaigns for everyone from the Rolling Stones and Coldplay to Katy Perry, plus blockbuster franchises like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Marvel. They’ve been in the room with Disney, Pepsi-Co, Ducati, EMI, and Virgin Records. But here’s the thing – they got tired of the major label machine and its cookie-cutter approach to breaking artists.
Fed up with an industry that only backs sure bets, Sarah and Steve started BandButler as a boutique agency that handpicks the artists and labels we work with. They’re music obsessives first, marketers second – the kind of people who genuinely believe that incredible music deserves to find its audience, whether you’re signed to a label or grinding it out independently. They know that some of today’s most vital music is coming from artists who’ve said “screw the system” and are doing it their own way.
BandButler believes the devil’s in the details – and that’s where the magic happens. We’re obsessive about process because we know that’s what separates breakthrough campaigns from background noise. We want to get in the trenches with you, giving you the focused attention that your art deserves. We come to every project with fresh ears and genuine curiosity about your sound, your story, and your goals.
Here’s where it gets interesting: our network runs deep. We’ve got direct lines to A-list film-makers, music consultants who’ve shaped careers, and some of the most respected PRs in the business – the heavy-hitters who can actually move mountains when they believe in an artist. That major label Little Black Book? We’ve still got it, but now we’re using it to level the playing field for independent artists and labels who deserve those same opportunities.
